Zelda Rae Walder

Zelda Rae Walder (Flint) passed away peacefully on Friday, December 24th 2021, one week after her 84th birthday. She is survived by her daughters Annette Walder and Tova (Michael) Koren. Zelda Rae was born in Duluth and moved to Minneapolis in the mid-1960s. Zelda Rae was a homemaker and worked at Mount Sinai Hospital. After working at Mount Sinai, she worked at the Olive Garden as a hostess for 26 years. Zelda Rae was an active member of Women’s American ORT. She was a volunteer in the Jewish Community and was active in several area synagogues. She enjoyed cooking, baking, and spending time with friends and family. We would like to thank Gary Devitt for the care he and his staff provided for Zelda Rae, as well as Dr. Dina Blumenfield and Health Partners Hospice.
