Steven Jerome Shamblott, age 82, of Florida. Preceded in death by parents Mr. Max L. Shamblott & Mrs. Hazel R. Shamblott Berenson; wife Mrs. Gayle J. Shamblott. Survived by children, Dr. Michael J. Shamblott (Deborah Howard-Shamblott) and Dr. Melissa J. Shamblott (Erik K. Jorgensen); grandchildren, Nicholas A. Shamblott (Samantha N. S. Aldana), Kaitlynn M. Shamblott, and Alexander J. Shamblott; sister & husband, Carole D. & Leonard Levine; brother-in-law & wife, Dr. Gary W. & Ronda Litman; long-time partner and soulmate, Estelle Weiss and her children Dan Weiss (Amy) & Dina Buslovich (Lev) & grandchildren Arielle, Elan, Noa, Jacob & Eliana, as well as many cousins, nephews, nieces, and friends; beloved pets, Mia, Dylan, and Reggae. Steve was a graduate of the University of Minnesota and held a degree in Electrical Engineering. He had a long and rewarding career working with computers, technology, and education. Steve worked for Control Data, Data 100, and Data Card International in the early part of his career. He also had a knack for entrepreneurial ventures, evident through his work with Adayana, LearningByte, Shady Oak Technologies, Medi-Caddy Health Systems, and CAD Parlor, Inc. Steve was extremely well loved by all who knew him. He was kind, generous, and a great conversationalist. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends. Private family funeral and burial service (due to COVID), 12:30 p.m. FRIDAY January 21, 2022. Attendees must show proof of full vaccination or have a negative PCR test taken within 72 hours.
