Stafford Calvin, age 80, of Pasadena, CA and St. Paul, MN, died April 15, 2011. Born April 6, 1931. Stafford was a loving husband, father, grandfather, friend, businessman, and educator. His family was the most important thing in his life. He was preceded in death by parents, Zelda and Carl Calvin; and parents-in-law, Lea and Herbert Schaffer. He is survived by wife, Rochelle "Ricky"; and children, Aryeh Calvin (Lesli), Carlton Calvin (Mary Blodgett), Loran Calvin (Tony Smith), Robin Wolff (Mark), Nadine Orloff, and Steve Orloff (Barrie); grandchildren, Isaac Calvin, Seth Calvin, Isabel Calvin-Smith, Owen Calvin-Smith, Jackie Wolff, Jordan Wolff, Sam Orloff, Dani Orloff and Noah Orloff; brother and sister-in-law, Allen and Dorothy Calvin; many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends. Memorials preferred for Camp Gan Sholom c/o the Jewish Federation of the San Gabriel and Pamona Valleys, 550 S. 2nd Ave., Arcadia, CA 91006 of the Minneapolis Jewish Day School, 4330 Cedar Lake Rd., Mpls, MN 55416.
