Robert William Allen

Robert Allen, age 62, of Tucson, AZ and formerly of Maple Grove, MN, passed away on August 14, 2022. Preceded in death by his mother, Sophie Allen. Survived by his father, Martin; and siblings, Susan Hackman, Barbara (Thomas) Sorbel, Scott (Yunxue) Allen. He was also an uncle to a niece, nephews, their spouses and children. Robert had real enthusiasm and zest for life. He enjoyed playing drums, listening to music (especially rock), attending classic car shows, and taking walks around the lake. Above all, he enjoyed family and friends. He was very caring, loyal and polite - "a real gentleman", as many have said. He was always there for everyone, a true friend, who put everyone first. Graveside service 1:00 pm, SUNDAY, August 21st, at MINNEAPOLIS JEWISH CEMETERY, 7032 Penn Ave. S., Richfield. Memorials are preferred to the donor's favorite charity.
