Raleigh Mae (Goldman) Kuller Obituary (1939 - 2016)

Raleigh Mae (Goldman) Kuller, age 76 of Edina, MN, passed away peacefully Saturday, January 23, 2016 surrounded by her loving family in the comfort of her beautiful home. Raleigh was born May 25, 1939 in St. Paul, MN to Dr. Harry Goldman and Shirley (Peck) Goldman Goldberger. She was preceded in death by father Harry and beloved husband of 47 years, Michael Kuller. There are not enough adjectives to describe the radiant woman we have lost. Raleigh lit up a room when she walked in and had a vibrant, exquisite beauty that shined through in all her endeavors. Raleigh lived each and every day to the fullest, devoting her life to her family and wonderful circle of friends. Her fiery, fun, larger than life personality was contagious to be around. Raleigh never ceased to amaze us with her fabulous style and elegance. She was the life of the party, and thoroughly enjoyed music, Broadway, movies, traveling, golf, cards, cooking and gardening. Raleigh devoted herself to helping others in need through her work with many charitable causes. Throughout the years, she stayed true to her optimistic, strong, courageous, and unique spirit despite the cards life dealt her. Survivors include her 101-year-old mother, Shirley, sister Ardis (Fred) Blumenthal, step-sister Marilyn (Richard) Smith, step-brother Fred (Edie) Goldberger, children Harmony Kuller (Mike Litman), Shari (Todd) Kuller Fleming and Mark (Donna) Kuller; grandchildren Alexandra (Matthew) Fleming Crnobrna, and James Fleming, significant other David Levy and Family, many cousins, nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held at 11:00am on WEDNESDAY, January 27, 2016 at TEMPLE ISRAEL, 2324 Emerson Ave S., Minneapolis, MN 55405. SHIVA will be held Wednesday evening at 7pm at Oak Ridge Country Club, 700 Oak Ridge Rd., Hopkins, MN 55305. Family prefers donations to the Michael and Raleigh Kuller/Jerry Brill Hospice Fund c/o Temple Israel.
