Phyllis Marilyn Heilicher (Solomon), loving wife and mother of five, passed away peacefully on Friday October 8th, 2021, at age 89, surrounded by her loving family. Born in 1932 to Francis and Julius Solomon, Phyllis lived her life on her own terms; she started her career as a nurse and continued volunteering in the community throughout her life. In 1954, she married Danny Heilicher. During their 51-year marriage they led an adventurous and full life through their world travels, countless friends, and continuous community engagement. Phyllis had a generous heart, a witty spirit and a great love of animals. Preceded in death by husband, Daniel Heilicher. Survived by children, Lee (Keith), Todd (Bev), Jamie (Stephanie), Matthew (Zehorit), Danna Mirviss (Joel); Grandchildren, Jessica (Ben), Michael, Justin, Breanna, Ethan, Leeyah, Mickela, Orielle, Sophie, Hannah, Rachel and Michelle; first great grandchild on the way; and her little dogs, Lily and Rosie. A heartfelt thank you to her trusted caregivers, Krista, Renee, Kari, Kathi, and Jennifer. Funeral service 11:00 AM on TUESDAY, October 12th at ADATH JESHURUN CONGREGATION, 10500 Hillside Ln. W., Hopkins. Masks and vaccination required at the funeral and shiva. You must pre- register if you choose to attend the service in person. There will be a livestream for the funeral.
