Friedman, Phillip Louis, age 85, of Minnetonka, formerly of Aberdeen, SD, passed away Oct. 18, 2008. Preceded in death by first wife, Sally J. Friedman. Survived by loving wife, Shirlee; son, Brian; granddaughters, Blair, Nicole and Sloan; daughter-in-law, Sally Forbes Friedman; step-daughters, Loni (Allan) Stillerman, Marilyn (Ralph) Shapiro, Leslie (Lex) Nerenberg; step-grandchildren, Orrie, Rachel (Tal), Layne, Matt, Mark and Marissa; sister, Sarah Poll. Phil was a Shriner. His family is what mattered most to him. We will miss his kind and gentle ways and loving smile. Funeral service MONDAY (TODAY) 12:30 PM, BETH EL SYNAGOGUE, 5224 W. 26th St., St. Louis Park.
