Nellie Zamansky

Nellie Zamansky age 93 of Minneapolis, formerly of St. Paul, passed away January 8, 2012. Preceded in death by parents, Charles & Sadie Tubman, sisters Lee (Frank) Gallob and Beatrice “Boody” (Albert ) Stein. Survived by her husband of 72 years, Ruben; daughters Ellen (Peter) Levy, Charlene “Chi Chi” (Robert) Barghini; son, Marshall (Margaret “Peg” Foley) Zamansky; grandchildren, Jason (Paul), Jeffrey (Chani), Ben, Joe (fiancée Ruby), Nicole (Keith) Noah (Caroline), David (Julie) and Rachael (Allen); 12 great grandchildren. Funeral service 1 pm, MONDAY at the TEMPLE OF AARON SYNGOGUE, 616 So. Mississippi River Blvd., St. Paul. In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to the donor’s favorite charity.
