Nancy Jane Gordon Obituary (1928 - 2016)

Nancy Jane Gordon, of Edina, passed away peacefully Saturday morning April 23, 2016, at age 88. She is survived by her children, Ted Gordon (Liz), Sally Gordon (Gallen Benson), Tom Gordon (Lisa Kalfas); her significant other of 20+ years, Arnold "Butzie" Lehrman; grandchildren, Caitlin and Meghan Gordon, Nell Benson and Kristofer Hendrickson, Lilly and Haven Mercer, Claire Gordon and Michael Neff, Sophie Gordon and two great-grandchildren. Nancy was so fortunate to have 2 wonderful men in her life, her husband of 46 years, Sewell Gordon and then her companion, Arnold Lehrman. She will be remembered for her generosity towards both family and causes she felt were important, and her enthusiasm for life-long learning. She instilled these values in her family. Nancy also had many life-long friends, and was always game for fun, family, friends and travel. Funeral service MONDAY 11:00 AM, BET SHALOM CONGREGATION, 13613 Orchard Road, Minnetonka. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Jewish Family & Children’s Service of Minneapolis. A gathering of family & friends will be at 4808 Ottawa Place, St. Louis Park, Monday 7:00 pm.
