Mitzi L. Goldstein Obituary (2007) - MInneapolis, Minnesota

Mitzi L. Goldstein, died on October 13, 2007, at the age of 98. She was born in Lithuania, and immigrated to the U.S. with her parents when she was a few months old. She graduated as Salutatorian from Sparta High School, in Sparta, WI. After her husband, Simon H. Goldstein, died in 1954, she moved with her sons to Mpls to be near family. She spent many years as an executive secretary at Norwest bank in downtown Mpls. She was preceded in death by her parents, Moris & Ida Sarah Laden, her sister, Bessie Gertz, and her brothers, Meyer, Joseph and Louis Laden. She is survived by her twin sons and their spouses, Stuart Goldstein & Mary Martini, of Mpls, and Sheldon Goldstein & John Goldstein-Burke, of Frederick, MD and Haines City, FL. Survivors also include granddaughters Sarah and Laura Martini, grandson Dov Goldstein & wife Sonya; great-grandson Andrew Goldstein; sister-in-law Esther Laden; nephews William and Steven Laden; niece Susan Gertz. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday at 1 pm in La Crosse, WI. Shiva will be held in Frederick, MD. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Jewish Family and Children Services, 13100 Wayzata Blvd., Minnetonka MN 55305
