Marjorie (Roston) Ireland Obituary (1940 - 2009)

Marjorie (Roston) Ireland, age 68 of Minneapolis, passed away Sept 11, 2009. Marjorie was a loving mother, grandmother and friend. She earned a Ph.D in biostatistics in 1995 from the Univ. of MN and was a research analyst for the School of Public Health at the Univ. of MN. She was an avid bicyclist and a former worker compensation analyst for the State of MN. Preceded in death by parents Arnold Roston and Ethel Johnson; sister, Barbara Roston. Survived by daughters, Michele (Marc) Ireland and Melanie Pidgeon; grandchildren, Evan, Sophie, and James; sisters, Carol Wyszomirski and Maggie Roston; brothers, Fred Johnson and David Roston; and numerous friends. Funeral service MONDAY 11 AM LAKEWOOD CEMETERY MAUSOLEUM CHAPEL 3600 Hennepin Ave.. In lieu of flowers Memorials preferred to the University of MN, School of Public Heath.
