Lonia Kuperman Obituary (1919 - 2010) - St. Louis Park, Minnesota

Lonia Kuperman, of Golden Valley, preceded in death by her husband, Leon, and brothers-in-law, Leon Seidman and Leo Haubenstock. Known to everyone as “Baubie,” her singular passion in life was loving her family. Baubie is survived by family that loved and adored her in return, and they include: her daughter, Ann (Neil) Covin; son, Allen (Diane) Kuperman; sisters, Manya (Max) Sherman, Regina Seidman and Saba Haubenstock; 9 grandchildren, Ellie (Mark) Wolpert, Heather (Kevin) Besikof, Sandy (Jason) Sondell, Lisa (Glenn) Aronauer and Michael Kuperman; and 11 great-grandchildren, Carli, Amaya and Sydney Wolpert, Leo and Wesley Besikof, Aidan, Caleb and Harlow Sondell, and Ashley, Logan, and Ethan Aronauer. Baubie, her sisters and their husbands were Holocaust survivors. Despite all they endured it was their love and commitment for each other and their family that forever links the generations that have flowed from that love.
