Janet A. Haskvitz Obituary (1939 - 2015) - St. Louis Park, Minnesota

Janet A. Haskvitz, age 76 of St. Louis Park, passed away July 10, 2015. She was a loving wife, mother and nana. Janet was preceded by her parents Leslie & Bernice Sweet. Survived by her husband of 56 years, Ron; daughters Dana, Jenna (David), Leah (Tom) and Andrea (Katie); grandchildren Joey, Jake, Rachel, Sophie, Henry, Sadie and Brodie; brother James (Nita) Sweet. Although suffering from the effects of a devastating stroke almost 18 years ago, which left her paralyzed and unable to speak, she never lost her beauty, sweet nature, or love for life and family. She always remained a caring and thoughtful wife to her husband, mom to her girls, and nana to her grandkids. Memorial service 2:00 p.m. WEDNESDAY July 15th at LAKEWOOD CEMETERY CHAPEL, 3600 Hennepin Ave. So., Mpls. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Hammer-Lawndale Group Home, 6688 Lawndale Ln. No., Maple Grove, MN 55311. Private Shiva. Reception will follow service.
