Jacob Benjamin Nelson Obituary (1990 - 2022)

Age 31, of Minneapolis, passed away on March 25, 2022. Jacob was a beautiful soul with brilliant blue eyes. He loved and trusted others so fiercely that it sometimes got him hurt. He would give you his last dollar if you needed it, even if he did too. He trusted that the universe would take care of him. Like a lighthouse he helped people find their way without knowing, anyone who came in contact with him felt the warmth of his light. But like a lighthouse he often felt he stood alone in the darkness. He found refuge in his music and art. Addiction and mental illness are very tough opponents and in this case they out-fought and outlasted him. In addition to his loving family and partner, he is survived by all of those whose lives he touched. His memory is truly a blessing. Even though the song has ended the melody continues on. Graveside service 11:00 AM on TUESDAY, March 29th at ADATH YESHURUN CEMETERY, 5605 France Ave., S. Edina. Memorial preferred to Pride Institute, NAMI, or The Aliveness Project.
