Eric Steven Aletky Obituary (1953 - 2014)

Eric Steven Aletky Age 60 of Golden Valley, left us unexpectedly on Friday, June 20. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Bernice Aletky. Survived by fiancée, Sheryl Wilkie of Deephaven; sisters, Loretta Ames of AZ, Patricia Aletky of New Hope; brother, Mark (Mary) Aletky of CA; beloved nieces and nephews, Clint, Paul, Nikki (Brent), Josefina (Andrew), Joe (Edna), Ariata; great-niece, Francesca; uncle, Donald Bukstein; cousins, and friends too many to number. Eric was a well known and well loved local musician and golfer, as well as an accomplished skier and martial artist. He touched the lives of all who knew him, with his warmth, charm, wit and intelligence. Funeral service WEDNESDAY, 3:00PM, MINNEAPOLIS JEWISH CEMETERY CHAPEL, 70 ½ and Penn Ave., Richfield. Family and friends will be received after the service at 3524 Hillsboro Court, New Hope.
