Elliot Herstein age 64 of Golden Valley, passed away December 11, 2011. Preceded in death by parents, David & Sophie; brother, Morton; and special adoptive parents, Maurice & Florence Filister. Survived by his life partner of 21 years, Karen Carlisle; brothers, Donald (Aileen), Jeffrey (Sue), Howard (Linda); step-daughters, Tiffany (Eric), Stefanie (Chris); 7 step-grandchildren; wife Marion; 13 nephews and nieces; 10 grand nephews and nieces; and 6 great grand nieces. Also survived by special friends, Harvey Filister, Darlene Stillpass and Bruce Richman.
