Apple, Donna age 75 of Golden Valley and Scottsdale, AZ, passed away on June 26 after a courageous battle with cancer. Preceded in death by parents, Hyman and Minnie Gelfand; brother, Maynard Gelfand. Survived by husband of 54 years, Alvin; daughters, Cindy (Alan) Greenberg of Scottsdale, AZ; Debra (Gregg) Savitt of St. Louis Park and Robin Apple of Palo Alto, CA; grandchildren, Zach, Mari and Jordyn Greenberg, Adam, Jonathan and Maddie Savitt; brother, Ed Gelfand; sisters-in-law, Marion Apple and Charlotte Gelfand; nieces and nephews. Loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend. Donna was passionate about her art, baking, cooking, gardening and party planning. She appreciated the beauty life had to offer and loved to share her flair for the aesthetic with those around her. Funeral service THURSDAY 11AM at TEMPLE ISRAEL, 2324 Emerson Ave. S., Mpls.
