Dana L. Haskvitz
October 24, 1963 - August 17, 2020
Dana, age 56, of Maple Grove, passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by her friends and the caring staff at Lawndale. Preceded in death by her mother, Janet Haskvitz and dear friend, Brad Hill. Survived by her father, Ron Haskvitz, sisters, Jenna (Dave), Leah, and Andrea (Katie); nieces and nephews, Joey, Jake, Sadie, Rachel, Sophie, Henry and Brodie. We are forever grateful for the love and care given to Dana by her special friends, Barb Matter and Steve Tschacher, along with the entire staff of Lawndale. Dana was gifted in knowing what the most important things in life are, which include, love, kindness, compassion, and play. She enjoyed simple things like spending time with her family, relaxing at home with her friends, working at Chrestomathy, watching her favorite home videos, holding hands, Dr. Pepper, building with blocks, getting her hair done, doing her signs and drawing. Dana was silly and loved to laugh. Her squeals were contagious and spread joy to everyone around. She loved her dad most of all, and always looked forward to their weekly Sunday visits. Dana taught us all the value of kindness and acceptance. Private family services. Memorials preferred to Hammer Residences, Inc in Wayzata.
