Charles L. Zalk Obituary (1923 - 2010)

Zalk Charles L.Zalk, age 86 of Minneapolis, originally from Duluth, passed away Nov. 7, 2010. A loving husband, father, and grandfather, he is survived by his beloved wife of 63 years, Cleo; sons, David, Stephen, and Douglas (Madison); grandchildren, Cody, Erica, and Georgia. He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Lylian Zalk; sister, Marjorie Z. Weisman; and brother, Morton L. Zalk. He served in the U.S. Navy during W.W. II as an officer aboard the destroyer U.S.S. Case in the South Pacific, and was the founder and longtime owner of Zalk Steel & Supply Co., Mpls. Funeral service TUESDAY, 1 PM, TEMPLE ISRAEL MEMORIAL PARK, 42nd St. & 3rd Ave. So. Mpls. In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to Camp Nebagamon Scholarship Fund, P.O.
