Anne Toni Weinberg Obituary (1925 - 2016)

Anne Weinberg age 91, of St. Paul, died August 27, 2016. She was known to those who loved her as Toni, lived a full life though she rarely left the borders of her birth place of St. Paul. Her aversion to the bouncing and jostling that comes with car, bus or plane travel focused her powerful will on her family. She was intensely generous, modest, and loyal, giving everything to her husband and children but always opened her door for those in need. After giving birth to eight children and sending them off to school she went to work in a time when that was not the norm. She was strong and loved to laugh with a very keen sense of humor. She passed on her love of music, reading, movies, the Kentucky Derby and watching Judge Judy. But above all she loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Preceded in death by husband, Leonard; son, Michael John. Survived by children, David (Cheri), Larry (Susan), Esther (Richard), James, Suellen (Michael), Richard (Laine) and Nancy (Joe); 16 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren. Graveside service MONDAY 11:00 AM at WEST SIDE HEBREW CEMETERY, 1250 Barclay St., St Paul. Contributionss in her memory to the Wiesdorf Foundation or the Lubavitch Cheder House would make Toni smile.
