Albert W. Frenkel age 96, of Minneapolis, passed away February 9, 2015. Survived by wife, Goldie (nee Schwartz) Frenkel; 3 children; 4 grandchildren. Professor Emeritus, Department of Plant Biology, University of MN. In lieu of flowers memorials preferred to Itasca Biological Station Centennial Fund, College of Biological Sciences, University of Minnesota Foundation. Special thanks to Mimi and Lonnie and the caring staff and hospice team at Sholom Home East. Private family services have been held and a memorial service will be at a later date.
